Scanner can be ported with ease and with great convenience. This unit manages the storage space well as it comes with measurements of 30.5 x 6.4 x 5.1 cms and weight of 0.59 kg.
Plain paper and business cards are the supported document types. This portable sheet fed scanner supports maximum document size of A4 (210 x 297 mm). Manual load is the document feeder type. It supports 16-bit (64K grey levels) Greyscale Depth, 8-bit (256 grey levels) External Greyscale Depth, 48-bit colour Depth and 24-bit (16.7 million colours) External Colour Depth. It offers an optical resolution of 600 dpi. Xe-gas cold cathode fluorescent lamp is the featured Bulb / Light Source Type.
1 x Hi-Speed USB is the interface available. This fast duplex scanner scans a page in 6 seconds. Simplex scanning is made supported. It coverts documents into PDF files. With Patented AutoLaunch Technology, the document will be scanned automatically as soon as it is inserted. PC is the supported hard ware platform.
Software provided are Drivers & Utilities, ScanSoft OmniPage and ScanSoft PaperPort Pro 9 Office software. The OS requirements are Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition and Microsoft Windows XP. CD-ROM is the interface needed. Windows 2000/ME, RAM 128 MB, HD 200 MB; Windows XP, RAM 256 MB, HD 200 MB are other system requirements. Visioneer Strobe XP 300 Scanner comes complete with Transparency adaptor, stand, carrying case and calibration card.
