The all new Plustek SmartOffice PL 2546 Scanner comes with all the advanced technologies for imaging at the same time, it provides ease of 
operation too. The unit measures 20.3 x 32.7 x 48.1 cm and weighs 4.5 kg.
This splendid flatbed scanner has Colour supported Contact Image Sensor (CIS) supporting optical resolution of 600 dpi. Further, the maximum hardware resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi. It has capacity to hold 50 A4 sheets and 20 business cards. In addition, it supports ID Cards and Credit Cards Scanning. The unit performs scanning at speed of 8 ppm for colour, 25 ppm for greyscale and 25 ppm for B&W.
This efficient scanner supports scanning area up to 216 x 297 mm for flatbed scanning and up to 216 x 356 mm for ADF scanning. Its daily duty cycle is 1500 sheets. There are 3 buttons for Scan, Up and Down. Up to 25 pages and 50 images can be scanned per minute. The unit supports 48-bit colour input and 24 bit colour output. Greyscale depth supported is 16-bit input and 8-bit output.
The smart scanner is compatible with IBM and Windows platforms. The software included are DocAction, BBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint plus, NewSoft Presto, PageManager 7.1, NewSoft Presto and ImageFolio V4.5, Hotcard Bizcard Finder V2.5, Plustek DI Capture and Plustek DocAction
The advanced Plustek SmartOffice PL 2546 Colour Scanner uses High Speed USB and Ethernet for connectivity. The package consists of USB Cable, AC Adapter, Quick Guide, Setup/Application CD-ROM, Calibrate Sheet, Memo Sticker, Extended Paper Width Slider and Protection Sheet. It consumes 18 watts in operational mode and 3.2 watts when idle. The company provides 1 year limited warranty.
