The new Mustek ScanExpress A3 Scanner promises quality scanning. It 
uses contact image sensor as scanning element. The scanner supports resolution upto 1200 dpi. It features a maximum hardware resolution of 1200 x 600 dpi. The optical resolution is upto 300 dpi x 600 dpi. The device is PC and MAC compatible. It can support upto 48 bits colour depth. Dimensions are perfect with 5.2 x 26.9 x 41.4 cm and it weighs 2.84 Kg. The device has got an SVGA colour monitor for display of features.
The Mustek ScanExpress A3 Flatbed Scanner supports plain paper and mass items such as books and albums for scanning. The maximum document size supported is 297 x 432 mm. The memory provided is 128 MB RAM and 220 MB of hard drive space. The scanner is provided with image-editing, photo-retouching and optical character recognition software. Interface provided is USB.
