Microtek ArtixScan 1800F Scanner is a desktop scanner for scanning 
transparencies, plain papers, slides and films. It is a flatbed scanner with 48 bit colour depth. The unit has optical resolution of 3600 dpi x 1800 dpi and interpolated resolution of 14400 dpi x 14400 dpi. CCD is the scan element and it supports single pass scan mode.
The maximum media size supported is 8 x 14 inches. Media loading type of this scanner is manual. Xe-gas cold cathode fluorescent lamp is the light source. High-speed USB 2.0 and FireWire (IEEE 1394 standard) are the interfaces of this flatbed scanner. This scanner is compatible with Macintosh and Windows.
