Kodak i50 Flatbed Scanner is a colour supported flatbed scanner for scanning documents and photos. It comes with automatic document feeder and supports optical resolution of 300 dpi. The interpolated resolution is 600 dpi.
The scanning element of the device is CCD and it has simplex operating mode. The scanning speed of this device is 20 ppm at 200 dpi for bi-tonal images, 13 ppm at 200 dpi for greyscale images and 10 ppm at 150 dpi for 24-bit colour images. The unit supports 36-bit colour depth and 8-bit greyscale depth.
The automatic document feeder has capacity of 75 pages. This scanner can scan up to 1000 pages per day. Additional features are brightness / contrast controls, edge sharpening, noise reduction, de-screening, gamma correction, error diffusion and hue, intensity and saturation controls.
