This IRIS Scanner is a portable A4 colour scanner. It has redefined the shape and design of a professional scanner. The document size supported by this scanner is A8, A6 and A4. The optical resolution is 300 x 600 dpi and the interpolated resolution is 1200 dpi. It supports USB interface to enable connections with other devices like your PC, etc. It is compatible with both PC and Mac.
This scanner is fast, diligent and very efficient when it comes to performance. It scans at a speed of 21 sec for an A4 size document in 300 dpi. You have to manually load the feeders. The maximum document size supported is 216 x 356 mm. The supported media are plain paper and business cards.
The software included with this device is Read iris Pro 11 PC/Mac, Card iris 3 PC/Mac, Photo Suite from Roxio PC and IRIS Desktop Search PC. The OS supported are Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP, Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later and Microsoft Windows Vista.
