This Sheetfed scanner performs scanning both sides of a page with one pass with a speed of 25 ppm. It carries out effective colour scanning with resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and colour depth of 48-bit. This scanner has a 50 pages automatic document feeder supporting maximum media size of 8.5 x 14 inches. There is vivid display panel for easy operation of the unit. You can easily scan up to legal-size documents. The business cards are scanned using its card feeder.
This elegant scanner is featured with unique HP support for the optimum scanning. HP Scanjets and Kofax VirtualReScan feature is for giving precise OCR scanning. With its HP Scanjet and IRIS Readiris Pro OCR software, you get any modes of scans converted in to editable text. Further, its one-touch profiles save and manage scans which are enabled using HP Smart Document Scan Software. The HP Scanjet 7800 Sheetfed Scanner also includes ScanSoft PaperPort software for easy organization of digital documents.
