This model is a flatbed scanner and it is made with the most advanced technology and sleek yet simple looks.</p>
<p><b> Product details </b><br />
Canon CanoScan 8800f supports colour scanning. The colour depth of this system is 48-bit colour and the Gray scale depth is 8 bit. Optical resolution of this device is 4800 dpi x 9600 dpi and the interpolated resolution is 19200 dpi x 19200 dpi. This device has a scan element type of CCD. Light source used in this <a href="http://www.scannerguide.co.uk/category/flatbed-scanners/">flatbed scanner</a> is white LED.</p>
<p>The included control panel buttons has functions like copy, email, film and scan to PDF. The time taken to scan a colour copy of a resolution of 300 dpi is 12.1ms. Scan preview can be achieved at a speed of 7 seconds. Maximum document size used in this model is 216 mm x 297 mm and the supported media types are Plain paper, slides, bulk objects (such as books) and film. Media feeder type is manual load.</p>
