This product comes under the flatbed type of model and is a desktop scanner type. The size of this scanner is measured as 65.8 x 48.8 x 25.4 cm in W x D x H. Its weight is calculated as 37.5 kilograms. The product looks very attractive in white colour.
It delivers the result in both colour and greyscale. The colour depth for internal and external is 36-bit and 24-bit. It greyscale depth is 12-bit and 8-bit. Epson Scanner offers the optical resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi and its interpolated resolution is 9600 x 9600 dpi. The scan mode of the device is by a single pass. The element used for effective scanning is CCD. Xe-gas cold cathode fluorescent lamp is used for emitting the light source while scanning.
