This scanner is compatible with PC and has a B/W scanning resolution of 100 to 600 dpi. The external Grey scale depth and colour depth are 8-bit (256 grey levels) and 24-bit (16.7 million colours) respectively. The control done by this scanner are Image Emphasis 5 steps, Gamma correction, Dynamic Threshold, Automatic Separation, Noise Reduction, Shadow Removal, Automatic De-skewing, Automatic Cropping, Mirror Image, Monochrome Reversing, Automatic Binary/Colour distinction and Automatic Multi Colour dropout. Other functions are Length control, Document size detection, Double feed detection, Barcode detection (ISIS), Patch code detection, Separation sheet and Control sheet.

The media supported is plain paper with paper size 48 x 70 to 298 x 432 mm. It has both single paper feed type with a 1.6 to 7.9 mils (0.04 to 0.2 mm) and continuous feed type with 2.4 to 7.9 mils (0.06 to 0.2 mm). The paper weight supported in single feed is 8 to 42 lbs. (30 to 157 g/m2) and 13 to 42 lbs. (50 to 157 g/m2) in continuous feed. The automatic document feeder comes with a capacity to hold up to 1,000 sheets (17 lb, 64 g/m2) is a highly efficient one.

This Panasonic KV-S3105 Desktop Scanner has a standard memory of 256 MB and has a maximum memory of 512 MB. The interface needed for this scanner is High-speed USB 2.0 / Ultra Wide SCSI (SCSI III) with a speed of 40 MB/sec. The power consumption is between 100 to 120 V AC with a speed of 50/60 Hz. The operational temperature required is 15°C to 30°C (59°F to 86°F).

Panasonic world’s best electronic device manufacturer has launched their new scanner which they modelled as Panasonic KV-S2048C Scanner. It is a colour scanner which can scan up to 41 pages per minute.

Technical Details

A4 sheet is used in this scanner and it supports duplex scanning feature (82 images per minute). It also has a 100 sheet feeder. Twain ISIS Drivers are used in this new scanner. You can network this scanner using the silex SX-2000U2. Scanning method used in this scanner is CIS. Scanning speed of this stylish scanning machine are Binary(200dpi), 41ppm (Simplex), 72ipm (Duplex), Colour(150dpi), 18ppm (Simplex) and 32ipm (Duplex). The Panasonic KV-S2048C Scanner has an Auto document feeder feature can automatically feed up to 120 sheets.
