The new flatbed design offers more convenience for its users while scanning. It can scan media up to the maximum size as 805 x 11.7 inches. Colour compatibility of the device is 12-bit for grey scale and 36-bit colour. It supports optical resolution up to 600 x 1200 bit. The device can deliver maximum interpolated resolution up to 9600 dpi. </p>
<p>Scanning will be done at single pass using a CCD scan element. Light for the scanning function is produced from cold cathode fluorescent lamp.
