The Canon DR-6050C Scanner is very fast performing and reliable unit.
Its innovative control panel provides ease of use. The unit is designed with robust body and heavy duty feed and eject trays. This smart unit is specially meant for business purpose. It measures 48 x 53.1 x 31.5 cm and weighs 22.5 kg.
This advanced sheetfed scanner is capable of performing A3 scanning at speed of 70 ppm for monochrome documents and 60 ppm for colour documents in simplex mode. It uses 3-Line Contact Image Sensor (CIS) and RGB LED for high quality scanning. It supports scanning at a resolution of 200 x 300 dpi. Optical scanning resolution supported is 600 x 600 dpi. Maximum of 300 sheets can be fed to the tray at a time.
The dependable scanner supports automatic document feeding. Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection and Rapid Recovery are unique to this unit. Its daily duty cycle is 120000 scans. It performs scanning at a bit depth of 8 bit for greyscale and 24 bit for colour. The maximum scan size is 43.2 x 30.5 cm. It consists of an onboard image processing chip to run various image processing functions.
The image processing can be further enhanced using the features such as Advanced Text Enhancement, Moire Reduction and Remove Bleed Through. It supports both Simplex and Duplex modes; Colour, Greyscale and Monochrome scanning; Error Folio Diffusion, Advanced Text Enhancement and Auto Colour Detection.
The Canon DR-6050C Colour Scanner include features such as Automatic Colour Detection, Automatic Page Size Detection, Skip Blank Page, Punch Hole Removal, Folio Mode, Count Only Mode, Verify Scan, MultiStream, Batch Separation and Pre-Scan Function. This compact unit is TWAIN compliant. It supports USB interface. The unit supports Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista. The Capture Perfect 3.0 software is included for enhanced capturing of data. For efficient working of the unit, a power supply of 220 to 240 V AC with 50 to 60Hz is needed. It consumes 84 Watts in Standby mode and 3.9 Watts in power saving mode.
