Canon Canoscan LiDE 200 Scanner is a very convenient device enabling
easy use. It is a lightweight scanner which requires just one USB cable for power and data. You can even operate it in the most impressive way powered by a laptop. Thus it makes possible serious graphical work or document management in the simplest way.
The compact, practical design has EZ buttons to copy, scan, and email and to create PDF. 3-colour (RGB) LED is the light source. Optical resolution is 4800 x 4800dpi and selectable resolution is 25 - 19200dpi. 48bit input for colour scanning and 16bit input for greyscale are its peculiarities. A4 / Letter [216 x 297mm] is the maximum document size that can be handled by the device.
It is highly efficient and at the same is fast in its functions. Scanning speed for colour documents is 2.5 msec/line (300 dpi) and 33.3 msec./line (4800 dpi). Speed for greyscale is 2.3 msec/line (300 dpi) and 11.1 msec./line (4800 dpi). If it is black and white the speed is 2.3 msec/line (300 dpi), 11.1 msec./line (4800 dpi).
This flatbed scanner is enhanced with the software Scan Gear, MP Navigator EX and ArcSoft Photo Studio. System requirements include Windows Vista, XP SP2 or 2000 Professional SP4 as OS, Internet Explorer 6.0, CD-ROM drive, Display 1024×768 Mac OS X v.10.3.9, v.10.4, v.10.5 / Safari / CD-ROM drive. The media types supported by the device are Plain paper, bulk objects (such as books) and business card.
