Acer known in the market of laptop and desktop PC now introduces another
brand product the Acer Acerscan 1240UT Scanner. This product is a colour scanner with 42-bit & 48-bit colour depth and 14-bit & 16-bit (64K grey levels) greyscale depth. The unit has an optical resolution of 1200dpi x 1200dpi and an interpolated resolution of 19200dpi x 19200dpi. The unit is a flatbed scanner, features a CCD type scan element with a single-pass scan mode, and is TWAIN compliant.
The unit weighs 4.3kgs with dimensions 30.5cm x 10.2cm x 45.7cm, supports media of size 216 x 297mm and has white enclosure.
